Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026  ·  SecureZaidi Ltd, Nairobi, Kenya

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the SecureZaidi website at www.securezaidi.com and its content. By accessing the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. Our Services

SecureZaidi Ltd ("SecureZaidi", "we", "us") provides cybersecurity consulting, data protection and GRC advisory, security awareness training, and compliance support services to organisations, with a focus on compliance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

Professional service engagements are governed by a separate written engagement agreement between SecureZaidi and the client. If there is any conflict between these Terms and an engagement agreement, the engagement agreement prevails for that engagement. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer to provide services on particular terms, and no client relationship is created by your use of this website or by an enquiry alone.

3. Acceptable Use of the Website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, guides, templates, and methodologies — is the property of SecureZaidi or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view, download, and print content for your own internal business use, provided you keep all copyright notices intact and do not modify the content or present it as your own. Any other reproduction, distribution, or commercial use requires our prior written consent.

5. No Professional Advice

Content on this website — including articles, guides, checklists, and compliance resources — is provided for general information only. It does not constitute legal advice, and it does not take account of your organisation's specific circumstances. Compliance with the Data Protection Act, 2019 and other laws depends on facts specific to each organisation; you should take professional advice tailored to your situation before acting. Use of our published resources does not make your organisation compliant and does not create an advisory relationship with SecureZaidi.

6. Third-Party Links and Services

This website may link to third-party websites and resources, including the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner and other regulators. These links are provided for convenience; we do not control and are not responsible for the content or availability of third-party sites.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". While we take reasonable care to keep information accurate and current, we make no representations or warranties — express or implied — about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the website or its content, and we may change or withdraw content at any time without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SecureZaidi shall not be liable for any loss or damage — including indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or loss of data — arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or your reliance on information published on it. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of Kenya. Liability arising from professional service engagements is addressed in the relevant engagement agreement, not these Terms.

9. Privacy

Personal data collected through this website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, in line with the Data Protection Act, 2019.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
